How Instagram and Twitter perpetuated the Worldwide Instameet 11 conversation to reach over 362 million people
Last weekend was the 11th Worldwide Instameet, where Instagrammers came together with their local Insta-communities to share in a weekend of photo moment making with the ones who appreciate their ‘grams the most.
These Instameets are encouraged all over the world, and have even further strengthened Instagram’s community building initiatives through the location-based Instagrammers who are leading localized, Instameet community groups.
In terms of social sharing, this Instameet was the largest to date. With 45,139 pieces of content shared within a week surrounding the weekend’s events, the #WWIM11 conversation reached over 362 million social users.
