Last year we helped the candy tycoon run a wildly successful influencer program to raise awareness for a holiday product launch, exclusively for Target. From influencer recruitment to campaign monitoring and reporting, we helped Hershey's increase their sales by 30% from the past year.
Hershey’s goal was to build awareness and obtain awesome user generated content of its new holiday candy, Barkbells, sold exclusively at Target Stores. The brand was looking for a highly targeted campaign that would bring the product to life.
SEEN Solution & Process
The SEEN team identified 25 Influencers from our Snapfluence community who matched Hershey's ideal personas to produce and share content that showcased various uses as well as the delicious taste of Barkbells on Instagram and Twitter. SEEN and Snapfluence managed the product fulfillment as well as scheduled, audited and measured the sharing of this content.
The Influencers shared 147 photos and videos of the product ranging from new recipe ideas to incorporating Elf on the Shelf. The content shared during the entire campaign reached 1.2 million targeted users, and Target stores sold out of Barkbells nationwide before Christmas (a 30% increase in sales from the prior year).
