Our Instagram influencers showed off their costume creativity with #SnapScare this Halloween

Last weekend we asked Snapfluence community members to show off the Halloween costumes they had been buzy bedazzling, painting and piecing together for our #SnapScare weekend hashtag project. We were so impressed with the creativity of all of the entires that came in, we wanted to show off a few of our top picks.

Winner - Leonard Spearman @projectspearman

Maybe it's the eerie lighting, or just our fear of that American Horror Story clown right now, but the #SnapScare photo that raised the most hairs on our judges' necks was from @projectspearman. We certainly wouldn't want to end up lost in the corn maze with this fellow, but we can't get enough of his other, vibrantly-photographed snaps of travel and international adventures. Screen_Shot_2014-11-05_at_3.39.50_PM

Can you say #coolmom? Snapfluener @naturalbabydol1 really nailed her son's zombie makeup this year. Those YouTube tutorials are paying off!

Punniest Costume

This award goes to Snapfluencer @alexandramcgee for her sassy take on a "Fruedian Slip." Just watch out for that photo backdrop on your dress, Alex.

This one's a tie for us. We saw some great superhero costumes this Halloween, but our favorite pairs came from @jennyofficial with Batman & Robin and @mommyjenna with some mini-versions of Captain America and Iron Man.
